In May of 2015, leaders in the seed industry came together with a mission to expand the reach of the seed industry within the halls of Congress. SeedFirstPAC, a political action committee, is dedicated to furthering our industry’s advocacy work. SeedFirstPAC is a voluntary Federal committee that will support candidates that value the contribution and value of seed to the health and well-being of society.
Our industry is facing a wide array of challenges from biotechnology labeling, appropriations for agriculture research, new breeding techniques, and patent reform – just to name a few. SeedFirstPAC will allow our industry to make deeper connections on Capitol Hill to get results on these issues of importance.
Contributions are completely voluntary, but we hope you will consider making a donation. The PAC can accept donations from all U.S. citizens and those who hold green cards.
